China Consumes 2.1% More Power in May than Year Earlier

SUGAR LAND--June 16, 2016--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--China's power consumption reached about 473.0 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) in May, a 2.1% increase over the same month last year, China's National Energy Administration (NEA) said Wednesday. For the five-month period of January through May this year, power consumption totaled 2,282.4 billion kWh, a 2.7% increase over the same period in 2015.
