SUGAR LAND--July 21, 2016--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) (San Ramon, California) is in the process of restarting its Gorgon LNG liquefaction plant on Barrow Island in Western Australia. The plant went offline July 1 due to a fault in the Acid Gas Removal unit, where a minor gas leak occurred. Construction activities on trains 2 and 3 are still on schedule, and both are unaffected by the unplanned work on Train 1.
