West Coast Offshore Energy Under Development

SUGAR LAND--February 2, 2017--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) and California's Intergovernmental Renewable Energy Task Force have started planning for future offshore wind and wave energy development opportunities in federal offshore waters. The agencies were formed to provide information to the decision-making process for energy projects, such as how to resolve conflicts between renewable developers and environmentalist concerns, as well as to facilitate coordination and communication between federal, state, local and tribal governments.
