China's Coal Output Up 8.5% in July 2017

BEIJING--August 18, 2017--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Driven by the increase demand in power generation and higher prices, in July 2017 China's coal output reached 290 million metric tons (MMT), an increase of 8.5% year over year, but the growth was 2.1 percentage points lower than that of June 2017. The daily average output reached 9.5 MMT, which was 0.78 MMT lower than that in June 2017. From January through July, China's accumulative coal output reached 2.01 billion metric tons, an increase of 5.4% year over year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics of China.
