SUGAR LAND--September 20, 2017--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Privately held Enerkem Incorporated (Montreal, Quebec) has begun production at its much-anticipated commercial-scale waste-to-biofuels facility in Edmonton, Alberta. The project, which was first announced in mid-2008, was set to launch commercial-scale production in 2012, but ran into construction delays, funding issues and supplier and subcontractor litigation.
