Natural Gas Database Natural Gas Database
Coverage: Natural Gas Terminals, Pipelines and Processing Plants
Availability: By Country, Market Region, State and Zone
Accessibility: Online & Desktop Solutions
Update Frequencies: Daily & Weekly

The Natural Gas Database consists of natural gas storage facilities, transmission pipelines, and gas processing plants. Coverage includes access to the plant database, compressor unit details with key management contacts, and capital and maintenance projects.

About the Market
The demand for natural gas is expected to grow from 22.8 Tcf (Year 2000 estimate) to approximately 33.8 Tcf by 2020. A total increase of 11 Tcf, adjusted for forecasted gains in usage efficiency. This figure alone infers a 50% increase in volume, which translates into large infrastructure projects in the production, transmission, and storage of natural gas. In the long term, 25,000 miles of natural gas pipeline will be constructed by 2010, and an additional 13,000 miles by 2015, in the US. Estimates range up to 275,000 miles or more of distribution pipeline.

U.S. and Canada Compressor Drive Database

The Compressor Drive Database identifies the prime movers driving compressors at Natural Gas Processing Plants, Compressor Stations, and Natural Gas Storage Facilities. Our database identifies the type of Compressor drive (Combustion Turbine, Internal Combustion Engine, Steam Turbine, or Electric Motor), Make, Model, Start-up Date and Horsepower rating for each machine. The database also identifies company ownership, verified key plant management contacts, physical and mailing addresses, and tracks the progress of grassroot construction and planned unit additions.
