The MoneyMan Report

"Somehow even very smart people get the idea money decisions operate under different rules. They don't!"

A man walks along the streets on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, heading toward the intersection of Broad Street and Wall Street. Holding his hand and keeping pace is his 6-year-old grandson. Young Daniel Frishberg is about to get a firsthand look at the New York Stock Exchange. He doesn't realize it yet, but his destiny is to be a major player in the world of finance.

Dan Frishberg grew up in New York, spending as much time on Wall Street as he could. He ran errands, he ran for coffee, he did whatever he could to assure as much time around the traders at the exchange as possible. He learned enough to know he wanted to learn more, so after a stint in the Marines, he took advantage of a scholarship to New York University.

The world, as they say, was his oyster. His energy was high, and he spent his early years working at Prentice-Hall, writing textbooks for accountants and lawyers. He moved into the marketing division and found another niche he enjoyed, advertising. He even owned an advertising agency until 1970, giving it up to seek another dream... to discover Europe. He moved to Florence, Italy, for a time, then to London, then to Mexico, and finally settled back in the States in Houston. He moved to San Antonio in 1985, and has since returned to Houston, where he currently resides.

Dan has spent over 40 years studying money and the markets; especially the people who make up those markets. His life's work has been to strip away all the jargon and finance babble. He talks about money in a unique language: plain English.

His background and experience inspired The MoneyMan Report, a daily radio program heard in Houston and archived on this website. Dan's popularity is evident; his workshops, which he calls The MoneyGame™ are consistently sold out and online, the hits' keep on coming. He does the radio show and the TV appearances, and he publishes financial information, seminars, and workshops, so it's not surprising that Daniel Frishberg Financial Services Inc. has blossomed as Frishberg Jordan and Stewart, Advisors; now one of the premier financial companies in the Southwest.
