McCain Foods Ready to Start Up $65 Million Plant in New Brunswick

SUGAR LAND--July 22, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Privately owned McCain Foods Limited (Florenceville, New Brunswick) plans to start up its new $65 million potato processing plant in Florenceville this week. The facility replaces McCain's first manufacturing plant, which was built 50 years ago. The new state-of-the-art processing facility is expected to consume 50% less water compared to the older plant and reduce electricity and heating costs.
