SunOpta Preparing Site for $25 Million Organic Soy Plant in California

SUGAR LAND--August 7, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--SunOpta Incorporated (NASDAQ:STKL) (Brampton, Ontario) is moving forward with plans to build a plant in Modesto, California, that will produce and package organic aseptic soymilk and other aseptic beverages. SunOpta has started the process of turning a 180,000-square-foot former fruit cannery into a production and packaging facility for soy milk, brewed tea and almond milk.
