Oklahoma's Renewable Energy Could Increase by 62.3% by 2012

SUGAR LAND--December 24, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--There are currently 13 operational plants with 1,755 megawatts (MW) of renewable energy power generation in Oklahoma. Hydroelectric leads the way with 11 powerhouses producing 1,066 MW, but wind power is not far behind with five windfarms producing 689 MW.
