Holly Corporation Plans Ultra-Low-Sulfur Diesel Project in Oklahoma

SUGAR LAND--June 12, 2009--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Holly Corporation (NYSE:HOC) (Dallas, Texas) is planning to build a 25,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) hydrotreater and sulfur recovery unit to allow its Tulsa refinery to produce ultra-low-sulfur diesel. The refinery was acquired from Sunoco (NYSE:SUN) (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) in June 2009 for $65 million, and Holly is planning to select a company in the summer to perform engineering, procurement and construction services.
