LNG Projects Move Forward in Italy

GALWAY, IRELAND--November 23, 2009--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Operations at Adriatic LNG's (Milan, Italy) liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal have been running smoothly since the official inauguration of the facility on October 19. The terminal is located offshore of Porto Levante, Italy, in the northern Adriatic Sea and has two modular LNG tanks with storage capacities of 125,000 cubic meters each. Enel SpA (BIT:ENEL) (Milan) is currently making a final decision on the selection of the company that will perform engineering, procurement and construction work for its new LNG terminal in Siciliy.
