Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas). Start-up biodiesel company GS AgriFuels Corporation (OTC:GSGF) (Alpharetta, Georgia) has executed an agreement with a subsidiary of Homeland Energy Biofuels LLC (New York, New York) and has formed GS Fulton Biodiesel LLC. GS AgriFuels plans to build a biodiesel plant in the growing former Miller Brewing site located in Fulton, New York.
Construction will soon start on a 10 million gallon per year biodiesel plant that will utilize soybean oil and waste oils to produce the clean burning fuel. The company has selected NextGen Fuel Incorporated (Potsdam, New York), a GS AgriFuels company, to provide the modular, continuous-flow multi-feedstock biodiesel process equipment utilizing the companys patent-pending Process Intensification technology.
Construction is expected to take about nine months to complete and the plant is scheduled to be operational by the end of the year.The company will join Northeast Biofuels LLC (Syracuse, New York), which is currently building a 100 million gallon per year ethanol plant at the site; BOC Group (New Providence, New Jersey) which plans to build a 600 ton per day liquid C02 plant and Perdue Farms (Salisbury, Maryland) proposed poultry feed mill project.
There are two additional biofuel projects currently under construction in New York State. Western New York Energy LLC (Mount Morris, New York) is building a 50 million gallon per year ethanol plant in Medina and Northern Biodiesel is nearing completion of a small scale 2 million gallon per year biodiesel plant that will be located in Ontario.
