China Launches Large Styrene-Butadiene Rubber Unit

BEIJING--April 28, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--China National Petroleum Corporation's (CNPC) (Beijing) Lanzhou Petrochemical Company began official production of its 100,000-ton-per-annum (TPA) styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) unit in late March, marking the formal launch of one of China's largest SBR production units. The unit was built using Chinese technology, including methods researched by Lanzhou Petrochemical.
