BEIJING--May 12, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Southwestern China's Sichuan Province will fully utilize its natural gas reserves in Dazhou city to build Asia's largest sulfur production base there, local reports say. Sulfur output in Dazhou is expected to surpass 4 million metric tons by 2010, accounting for half of the total in China. With convenient transport facilities and a growing leading chemical industry, Dazhou is known to be a major natural gas energy base in the western region of China and also one of the most potential gas fields after the Tarim and Erdos natural gas fields in the country.
