Suez Energy Prepares to Inaugurate 87-Megawatt Power Plant in Panama

CORDOBA, ARGENTINA--June 30, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Suez Energy Central America, a subsidiary of Suez Energy International, a branch of Suez SA (OTC:SZEZY), is reaching the final phase of its Cativa power plant project in the Colon province in Panama. Construction on the $100 million project began in October 2007, and consists of the installation of 10 8.7-megawatt (MW) MAN diesel engines, leading to a total generating capacity of 87 MW. According to officials, the power plant will be producing 43 MW of power by this August and will operate at full capacity by January 2009.
