Pinnacle's Arkansas Biodiesel Plant Running at Full Capacity
SUGAR LAND--July 1, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Despite the doom and gloom in the news about biodiesel producers struggling to keep their doors open and make a profit, Arkansas-based Pinnacle Biofuels Incorporated's (Crossett, Arkansas) new biodiesel plant in Crossett is running at full capacity. The advantage this plant has over traditional producers is that it uses about 75% to 85% chicken fat blended with soybean oil. The feedstock is reasonably cheap, as the plant is located near three large poultry-processing plants.
