CORDOBA, ARGENTINA--July 15, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The Hornaing coal-fired plant's 250-megawatt (MW) Rateau-Alstom (EPA:ALO) (Paris) steam turbine, Unit 3, is expected to be shut down by 2012, plant officials revealed to Industrial Info. The Hornaing site, operational since 1958, is a part of Societe Nationale d'Electricite et de Thermique's (SNET) coal-fired power plants in France that were recently acquired by E.ON (OTC:EONGY) (Dusseldorf, Germany).
