CORDOBA, ARGENTINA--August 13, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Authorities from Petroleos de Venezuela S.A.'s (Caracas) Cardon Refinery has shut down Alkylation Unit 2 in order to perform a necessary change of equipment. Alkylation 1 has been offline since February 2008.
