SUGAR LAND--October 15, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--PPL Nuclear Development LLC, a subsidiary of PPL Corporation (NYSE: PPL) (Allentown, Pennsylvania), has submitted an application to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for a combined construction and operating license to build the Bell Bend nuclear plant. The application was prepared with UniStar Nuclear Energy, a joint venture of Constellation Energy Group Incorporated (NYSE:CEG) (Baltimore, Maryland) and Electricite de France SA (EPA:EDF) (Paris).
