SUGAR LAND--November 24, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--On Tuesday, November 18, Unit 2 of Progress Energy's (NYSE:PGN) (Raleigh, North Carolina) H.B. Robinson Nuclear Power Station near Hartsville, South Carolina, was forced offline because of turbine vibration. Further testing and investigations showed that the problem was bigger than expected, meaning the unit could be down for about two to three weeks.
