Endesa Chile Receives Equipment for Central Termoelectrica Quintero

CORDOBA, ARGENTINA--December 15, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--On December 7, Electricty-generation company Empresa Nacional de Electricidad SA (NYSE:EOC) (Santiago, Chile) received turbines and generators for the 240-megawatt (MW) gas-fired plant currently under construction in Quintero, Chile. The project is expected to go online by the first quarter of 2009.
