Alberta Government Secures Letters of Intent with Two CCS Projects
SUGAR LAND--October 20, 2009--Written by John Egan for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Two carbon-management projects in Alberta will receive CAD$1.64 billion (US$1.58 billion) in funding, as letters of intent have been signed with Alberta's provincial government. Alberta will provide CAD$1.18 billion (US$1.14 billion) in funding over 15 years to the two projects, which will receive CAD$463 million (US$446.34 million) in additional funding from the federal Canadian government.
