TransCanada Awards Supply Contract to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for Oakville Generation Station

SUGAR LAND--November 30, 2009--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Energy infrastructure company TransCanada Corporation (NYSE:TRP) (Calgary, Alberta) has awarded manufacturing company Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (TYO:7011) (MHI) (Tokyo, Japan) with a supply order for two sets of gas turbines and generators for the 900-megawatt (MW) combined-cycle gas-turbine (CCGT) power generation plant to be set up in Oakville, Ontario.
