Pacific Ethanol Planning January 2010 Restart of Idaho Ethanol Plant

SUGAR LAND--December 1, 2009--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Pacific Ethanol Incorporated (NASDAQ:PEIX) (Sacramento, California) is seeking permission from bankruptcy court to restart production at the company's idle ethanol production facility in Burley, Idaho. The plant originally went into production in April of 2008 and was shut down in February 2009 amid bankruptcy and a struggling ethanol market. Now that market conditions have improved, the upturn has prompted the company to resume production by January 2010.
