Ameren Maintains Income Gains in Fourth-Quarter and Full-Year 2009, Despite Drop in Sales
SUGAR LAND--February 19, 2010--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Electric and gas utility company Ameren Corporation (NYSE:AEE) (St. Louis, Missouri), which serves about 3.4 million customers in Missouri and Illinois, reported a steady growth in net income for fourth-quarter and full-year 2009, despite slight declines in operating revenues. Net income for the fourth quarter was $79 million, a 38.6% increase year-over-year, and $612 million for 2009, a 1.16% increase from 2008.
