GE Oil & Gas Wins $100 Million Turbo Contract from Petrofac for El Merk Project

BANGALORE, INDIA--April 22, 2010--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--GE Oil & Gas (Florence, Italy), a business division of the General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) (GE) (Fairfield, Connecticut), has won a $100 million contract from Petrofac International Limited (Sharjah, United Arab Emirates), a private oil and gas services company providing investment and management support, to supply turbo compression equipment for the El Merk central processing facility (CPF) in the Berkine Basin region of Algeria.
