ATLANTA, GEORGIA--May 6, 2010--Written by John Egan for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--North America's chemical processing companies are taking heart from the apparent end of the U.S. recession, Trey Hamblet, Industrial Info's vice president of research for the Chemical Processing Industry (CPI), told about 200 attendees at IIR's Twenty-Ten Industrial Market Outlook briefing here last week. "A significant portion of the Chemical Processing Industry depends on growth in the housing and automotive markets," Hamblet told the Outlook attendees. "The outlook for the industry improves with each sign that the U.S. recession is ending."
