Spectra Energy to Build Natural Gas Processing Facility in Northeast British Columbia
SUGAR LAND--June 16, 2010--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Natural gas infrastructure company Spectra Energy Corporation (NYSE:SE) (Houston, Texas) recently announced plans to build a 200 million-cubic-foot-per-day natural gas processing facility west of Dawson Creek, British Columbia. The proposed Dawson Processing Plant is expected to meet the high shale-derived natural gas demand from natural gas producers operating in the region. The plant will process gas sourced from the Montney Shale Play, which is part of the prolific Montney Natural Gas Field in northeast British Columbia.
