Baton Rouge ExxonMobil Refinery Completes Non-Road Diesel Unit

SUGAR LAND--June 21, 2010--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--ExxonMobil (NYSE:XOM) (Irving, Texas) is wrapping up completion of a fourth diesel unit at the company's Baton Rouge, Louisiana, refinery. The refinery has three operating HHLA diesel units onsite, and the fourth HHLA unit is being installed to produce ultra-low-sulfur diesel for non-road use and to reduce emissions to meet the 15 parts-per-million sulfur content regulations for the production of cleaner-burning, off-road diesel, which is required by the summer of 2010. The overall cost of constructing the unit was $400 million.
