SUGAR LAND--September 29, 2010--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The 838-megawatt (MW) Unit 1 of the Crystal River Nuclear Station in Crystal River, Florida, which is owned by Progress Energy Incorporated (NYSE:PGN) (Raleigh, North Carolina), has remained offline for repairs since the unit stopped operating in fall 2009. Plant sources stated that the outage has taken longer than expected and that repairs are still under way.
