SUGAR LAND--November 9, 2010--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Canada-based uranium supplier Cameco Corporation (NYSE:CCJ) (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) recently reported third-quarter earnings for the company's 2010 fiscal year. Net earnings of $98 million were down 43% from 3Q09, although the company had previously said that this would occur, because of the timing of uranium deliveries during the year. The company expects to deliver one-third of its uranium sales in the fourth quarter of this year. Production levels in the third quarter were the same as the corresponding quarter in 2009, although year-to-date production of 16.5 million pounds of uranium is up 17% from last year. Industrial Info is tracking more than $3.3 billion in projects belonging to Cameco and Bruce Power LP (Tiverton, Ontario), a partnership of Cameco and other companies that operates the Bruce A and Bruce B nuclear power stations in Ontario. Information on these and other Cameco projects can be found in Industrial Info's North American Industrial Database.
