PT Market Survey Researcher: Petroleum Refining

Job Responsibilities:

Position Summary: In this role, you will conduct investigative research, to gather and verify primary market intelligence, as well as enter data updates into a database. Please note that this position requires an attention to detail to gather information on industrial plants and plant projects. Standard office hours M-F in one of our Sugar Land office locations. Must be a student to apply.

Essential Functions Statements 

  • Conduct surveys and collect data using methods such as phone interviews, internet research techniques and review of industry publications. 
  • Review, classify, and record survey data. 
  • Perform data entry into database and other clerical work as required for task completion. 
  • Collaborate with other researchers to implement and complete survey research. 
  • Verify the accuracy and validity of data; correct any errors. 
  • Collaborate with other researchers in the work division to complete department objectives

 High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience: One to two years related experience conducting outbound calls. Individuals with telemarketing, collections, or research experience are encouraged to apply. 
Computer Skills: One or more years’ experience with technology including computer systems is required. The ability to quickly learn new software is required. Prior work experience in database entry work is preferred.
Other Physical Requirements: Vision (Near) & Sense of Sound (Conduct Phone Interviews)
Work Environment: General office environment with favorable lighting and temperature, no hazardous or unpleasant conditions.
