Job Responsibilities:
Position Summary
:
Lead a team of analysts to enhance competitiveness of clients by delivering tailored forecasts and analytics models for 12 industries including mining, power, oil & gas, petroleum, and chemical processing. Identify new areas of demand for analytic products and lead team of analysts to meet such new opportunities while collaborating with IT, marketing and sales teams to successfully deliver new product offerings.
Essential Functions Statements
Oversee, and contribute to the generation standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Use classification and regression tree models to analyze 10 years of oil and gas plant construction data.
Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data.
Analyze and identify trends surrounding maintenance projects in petroleum refineries.
Collect business intelligence data from available industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources.
Establish tests to ensure that intelligence is consistent with defined needs.
Create business intelligence tools or systems, including design of related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs.
Document specifications for business intelligence or other outputs.
Identify and analyze industry or geographic trends with business strategy implications in order to meet client needs.
Maintain or update business intelligence tools and methods.
Manage timely flow of business intelligence information to users.
Communicate with customers, competitors, suppliers, professional organizations, or others to stay abreast of industry or business trends.
Review and create technical design documentation to ensure the accurate development of reporting solutions.
Identify or monitor current and potential customers, using business intelligence tools.
Oversee the maintenance of the library of model documents, templates, or other reusable knowledge assets.
Oversee technical support for existing reports and other tools.
Manage staff, prepare work schedules, assign specific duties, complete performance reviews, suggest compensation adjustments, and career planning. When necessary utilize progressive discipline model to correct employee behavior.
