While there has been considerable growth of data center projects in northern Virginia, there also is substantial development in the Midwest, especially in Ohio. Industrial Info is tracking 14 projects valued at $1.85 billion in the state. As data consumption increases in the U.S., Ohio will take on more importance as a data hub for transmission between the coasts.
