Both utilities - Consumers Energy (Jackson, Michigan), a subsidiary of CMS Energy Corporation (NYSE:CMS) (Jackson, Michigan), and DTE Energy Company (NYSE:DTE) (Detroit, Michigan) - need to have their plans approved by the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) (Lansing, Michigan).
