CENACE, Mexico's electricity market regulator, lifted a hold on 23 ongoing and future commissioning and testing activities for solar photovoltaic (PV) and wind power-generation projects. The hold, which went into effect in early April, affected more than 40 renewable projects in the final stages of investment, sparking a wave of legal challenges.
