Marathon will permanently shut down its 167,000-BBL/d Martinez, California, refinery, that has been idled since April 27 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and a continued lack of auto fuel and product demand. The facility may be converted into a terminal and/or renewable diesel plant in the future.
