Attachment: Map
The Dominican Republic's single petroleum refinery was forced to shut down on Monday due to flooding caused by Tropical Storm Laura. The 34,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Santo Domingo refinery had been kept online at lower rates estimated at 60% due to COVID-19. Early expectations are for the refinery to restart in 4-5 days, and maintain similar rates throughout the rest of the month.
