The Taiwan Geothermal Association (TGA) says the island's potential for geothermal power generation could be as strong as 32 gigawatts (GW). TGA is working with international geothermal developers on possible exploration, drilling, and evaluation projects to develop geothermal energy resources in Taiwan.
