Marathon, today, August 10, expects to initiate restart procedures on the 140,000-BBL/d Fluid Catalytic Cracker Unit (FCCU) at its 495,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Galveston Bay Refinery in Texas City, Texas, after the unit was shut down on August 7 due to a unit upset. Normal operations are expected by the end of the week.
