Argentina Shuts Down Refineries due to COVID-19 Pandemic, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Argentina has halted crude processing at three refineries as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The drop in consumption and storage capacity that continues to reach its limits forced Raizen Argentina to temporarily halt its 93,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Buenos Aires Refinery in Dock Sud; YPF SA its 28,000-BBL/d Plaza Huincul Refinery; and Refinor SA has shut down its 25,000-BBL/d Campo Duran facility.
