Argentina has halted crude processing at three refineries as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The drop in consumption and storage capacity that continues to reach its limits forced Raizen Argentina to temporarily halt its 93,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Buenos Aires Refinery in Dock Sud; YPF SA its 28,000-BBL/d Plaza Huincul Refinery; and Refinor SA has shut down its 25,000-BBL/d Campo Duran facility. The remaining plants continue to run at reduced rates in response to the historic oil demand collapse.
