IIR Top Refining News Today: July 13th 2020
Marathon Petroleum on July 12 restarted the 225,000-BBL/d Pipe Still 3B (crude) and the 112,500-BBL/d Pipe Still 3B VDU at its 437,000-BBL/d Galveston Bay Refinery (GBR) in Texas City, Texas, after the units were shut down on July 4. The turnaround of five other units is ongoing. The refinery is still derated due to low demand for auto fuel and product because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
