HydroChile Begins Final Commissioning for San Andrés Hydroelectric Project
CORDOBA, ARGENTINA--December 11, 2013--Researched by Industrial Info Resources Latin America (Cordoba, Argentina)--HydroChile S.A. (Santiago, Chile) recently began the final commissioning of its 40-megawatt (MW) San Andres project. Located in the San Fernando region of Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins, the hydropower plant will have two 20-MW, vertical Pelton hydro-turbine generator sets from Dongfang Electric Corporation Limited (Sichuan, China). It will supply the renewable energy to the local grid.
