Statoil ASA (NYSE:STO) (Stavangar, Norway) along with the Norwegian arms of Royal Dutch Shell plc (NYSE:RDS-A) (The Hague, Netherlands) and Total S.A. (NYSE:TOT) (Paris, France) are working with Norwegian authorities to advance large-scale carbon storage in depleted gas fields.
