SUGAR LAND--May 30, 2018--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--U.S. fossil-fuel consumption for power generation hit its lowest level since 1994 last year, when it declined to 22.5 quadrillion British thermal units, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). Industrial Info is tracking more than $10 billion in U.S. project kickoffs for the remainder of 2018 that are related to fossil-fueled generation, about 10% of which is attributed to maintenance-related projects.
