Algerian state-owned oil and gas company Sonatrach plans to add a new liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) train at its Hassi Messaoud (Zcina) plant in Ouargla Province, eastern Algeria. The train will have a capacity of 16,667 barrels per day (BBL/d) and is expected to cost $500 million. Currently, Sonatrach's Zcina LPG complex features three identical LPG trains with an LPG capacity of 50,000 BBLs/d, a natural gas-processing capacity of 284 million standard cubic feet per day and condensate production of 2,906 BBL/d.
