Magnolia LNG Still Stalled in Financing for Lake Charles Terminal, an Industrial Info Market Brief
Financing continues to be the last and largest hurdle for Magnolia LNG's planned Lake Charles production and export terminal in Louisiana. While tentative tolling agreements were issued early on, no guaranty contracts have been signed. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) granted approval for the project in 2016. Contract engineers continue to slowly work on the project, but no significant movement is expected until late 2019, at the earliest.
