The plant will produce ammonia, along with urea and ammonium nitrate. The project is in a nascent stage; however, pending funding, the company looks forward to beginning site preparation work by 2021, and operations are likely to commence by mid-2023. Sable Chemicals is a leading ammonium nitrate and NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium) fertilizer manufacturer in Zimbabwe.
