Automakers VW and Ford Announce Partnership, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Under a planned alliance announced this week by automakers Ford and VW, Ford will be responsible for mid-size pick-up trucks and larger vans, while VW will manufacture smaller city vans.
Currently VW and Ford have 52 operational plants in Europe with 17 located in Germany (see graph below).
